The Thomas family purchased the house from Julia Munzesheimer in 1908 and occupied it until 1910 when it was sold to the Perry family. Mr. Thomas was the co-owner of the Mineola Monitor, the local newspaper, and was very active in the community.
The Private bath adjacent to the room across the hall was the first bath in the house and contains the original footed tub. The tub is also the largest in the house measuring a whopping 6 ft.!
The Thomas Room is located upstairs in the main house and includes;
