Mineola is known for trains, but alike all other small towns in Texas, it also saw the days of horse and buggy. Tack rooms were commonplace and were the areas in which all horse equipment was held. Taking our guests back to cowboy culture and horse lore, the tack room décor radiates true country grit. This room not only features tools of the trade, but also includes an outhouse style bathroom to really set the rustic mood. While you’re in the “outhouse” you may enjoy reading our endless collection of national Geographic which rest on a 12ft. steeple shaped wall, decorated with old books and tools. Saddle up in this room as it takes you on a journey of cowboy life!
